Photography by my 5 year old!
We were playing around by the lake and I was taking a few shots of the kids when Caleb wanted to "have a turn"...so I let him! I was so impressed!! I generally do not like any pictures of me at all and he got a few good ones. I like this one because of the angle. BTW no editing was done to this image except for the burn around the edge. I did not adjust anything else!! I am so pround of my big boy.

Welcome Baby Lara Lee
I was honored to photograph this beautiful 3 week old baby girl a few weeks ago. I love these shoots and couldn't wait to post a few of my favorites. Everyone is doing great and we miss mommy, Betsy, at work! She is a great friend and teaches 4th grade with me. Rock that baby girl, Betsy, she will grow up so fast!! Isabella just turned 19 months and I remember her 3 week old shoot like it was yesterday!! Enjoy the images...

Alyssa and Cayden
This is Alyssa and Cayden, my best friend's children. Renea has chosen these two pictures for a photo purse. We had to do part of their shoot in studio b/c of rain. I threw Isabella in a few pictures with Cayden and they were so funny together. When Isabella wasn't throwing a fit, Cayden was throwing a rabbit...The rabbits did survive the shoot not to worry. Living in a good home. FUN TIMES!!
The grandkids...minus 2
It is so hard to get our kids together, mom will go out a buy matching outfits and then we will try to get them together and it is usually so rushed and we are trying to keep children out of the sand or pool...BUT YEAH!! A good picture. I swear I take pictures for so many families each year but for some reason this little bunch is my biggest challenge. Maybe because we want good pictures so bad. Plus Caleb is usually so excited to see the girls he cannot contain himself so I end up threatening his life before the shoot is over. On this day my little Isabella was the challenge, imagine that!! Anyone that REALLY knows her understands nothing new. Most of the shoot involved pics of the first 3 gradkids and Sis on my hip but we managed a few with her. The children missing is Garrett, erin's step-son and little baby boy that will be here in a few short months. We are hoping to get all 6 together when baby arrives!!

My babies...Isabella and Caleb
I thought these of Isabella were decent considering I took both kids to the Dr that evening and Isabella had an ear infection and Caleb had had the crud going on three weeks...yes I torture my children for photographs. Time is not friend of our working two jobs, being a mom and wife so when the opportunity arises we shoot. I am really not that bad, we didnt shoot long and the kids had fun playing with the bunnies. Caleb is always great and a huge help. If only girls were as easy as boys...I guess we pay a price for this type of beauty!! Lucky me I got a good looking boy too!! Enjoy!!

It has been awhile...
It would take hours to try and catch up on pictures of the last few months I haven't blogged...sorry, mommy, wife, and teacher has been priority lately. I figure I will just show off my two, and they both have changed so much, and then if time allows throw in old pictures here and there. Since Fantasy of the trees when I last posted, we have had Christmas, both kids have had a birthday and so much has happened. Sometimes you just have to enjoy the good times, get pictures when you can and show off later...Look at Caleb he is 5 now and he looks so grown up. Isabella will be turning 14 months of the 19th and she is walking and sassing. Girls are sooo different. We love these two more than words can express.
